Always and forever

It was a fairytale wedding for Luke and Leesa Krisak on Saturday afternoon. The weather was gorgeous!! And everyone had a good time! I was pretty nervous that all 3 of us were in it and Chad would be working most of the day. But thankfully I had some awesome friends who helped all morning get us ready to go.. Jenice even came with to the church during pictures to help out! I am so greatfull!! Tyler and Sydney learned some photography..as they passed the time snapping several shots all day long. Some of them are my favorite photos of the day! Maybe they will follow mommy's footsteps???

Sydney starts 4-K

4-K with Miss Amy

What's the best part about 4-k? NO NAPS!!!

oh and group time!

Got her back pack all ready!!

I love how sweet they look! If only they always got along so nicely!

And then the sillies start!
Where is the time going??

Friedrich Fencing

Keeping the kids and the puppies in...
and the Riff Raff out!!!

It took almost all summer but finally the final installment of fencing in the yard is complete. And it looks amazing! I'm pretty proud of how much Chad learned from Dad..and was teaching Mike. Or at least he had Mike put to the test!

POWER TOOLS!!!
(make that noise like Tim the Toolman Taylor)

The final look! YAY!!

One of the finished gates- now to keep plotting and scheming for the village hot tub!

Let's Play HOCKEY!!!

He got all suited up with his Minnesota Wild jersey.. ready to shoot the puck! Tyler is so excited! Registration was tonight. I was more than a little apprehensive about the decision. So deep breaths.. practice starts in a few weeks.

Back to School!

It's hard to believe how fast the summer flies by! We definitely had some fun! And now it's time to hit the books and get back into a routine. Ah the struggles of bedtime.. not so fun! With everyone back to school, even my schedule at work as changed too! Again not so fun! But ya gotta roll with it right?

Speaking of rolling with it.. Clothes.. what to wear? Tyler's choice for the 1st day of school has been quite the topic of controversy! All in good humor thankfully! The boy is loving sports! Whether it's hockey, baseball or football.. He's tuning into ESPN more and more! And so he's decided to like the Vikings and the Packers.. Not sure how that's really possible! But I have to pick my battles.. and this is one I will pass on.. If he wants to wear purple.. so be it! He's got some very proud Aunts and Uncles right about now. The border battle begins!
He rode his bike to school for the 1st day celebration..while Dad carried his backpack.. and I carried the gym shoes. It's amazing how the school supplies don't all fit!!
Tyler with his new teachers! Mrs Berg & Mrs. Wolfe
He's in the multi-age classroom with 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders!
Found his spot at the table!!
I love Daddy helping with the paperwork! Normally Mom has to fill all that fun stuff out! Afterwards, we did a little scavenger hunt finding the other teachers and then came home. Tomorrow is a full day! Well, for Tyler and Daddy.. I'm working a shorter shift so I can pick Tyler up at 315 and find out how his day went. Next Tuesday, our school adventure continues when Sydney starts 4-K. (sniffle sniffle!)
