4-K Graduation

Kindergarten- Here We Come! Here We Come! It's been a great year of Preschool...and now they are ready... Sadly, Sydney will be heading to Northern Lights in September without her buddies.  It'll be time to make some new friends.. but in the meantime she'll still get to play all summer with most of them at daycare!  The graduation ceremony included a few songs, a diploma and cookies of course!!

Scrapbook Page- Sydney's 1st Dance Recital

Happy Saturday!  We took the kiddos to Shamrock for some pizza..yum yum.. just in case today was really Judgement Day.  Then we rented the Justin Bieber movie.. Yes life is now complete! Chad's heading out to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie with a friend..I'm heading downstairs to watch Justin Timberlake on the SNL season finale and play with some more scrapbook pages. I'm determined to stay organized and get caught up. (giggle since I'm 2 years behind!)

New cards

So I've been trying to use up scraps of paper.  It seems as though there's always a swatch here or there.. Okay really.. there's a ton from the scrapbook pages.  It's the perfect opportunity to play with cricut cartridges and make some cards.  Here's a few from this week.  I need to think of teacher cards and Father's Day ideas but I'm leaning towards some scrapbook pages tonight.  Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Baby Update

21 Week Photo- Baby looked amazing!  We still couldn't decide if we should find out if it's a boy or a girl.  So the results are sealed in an envelope!  Maybe we'll open them.. maybe we will wait!  I'm okay with waiting and hearing in the delivery room the results.  In the meantime, I thought we could start the baby's college fund and I've offered to sell the envelope to the highest bidder.  We might as well as have some fun with it right?  Right now, Gramma bids $10 for the envelope!   C-section will be scheduled for around Sept. 13th.  So sweet.. a week after my baby starts Kindergarten.. I'll have a new baby in my arms!   Hope you are all enjoying the weekend.  Sadly I had to work.. but I'm anxious to finish up some housework and get to the scrapbook room again to share some more pages!

Birthday Cards

Now that my craft stuff has been moved down to the basement, I manage to find an hour here or there a couple of nights a week.  I've gotten way more accomplished in the last month then I did all last year I think! I keep trying to using up some of my scraps from scrapbooking for cards.  It's perfect for playing with my Cricut cartridges too!  I love Boys Will Be Boys Cartridge.  I used it for the monster and dump truck.  I also have played with the Create A Critter cartridge to make a few things for the new baby's room/scrapbook!  I'll have pictures soon!

Scrapbook Page

Alright MOM!!  Here ya go!  She's been telling me to post more of my pages and cards..so here's the 1st one!  I'm pretty excited how the page turned out.  I didn't want to do another typical fall scrapbook page with leaves, pumpkins etc.  And I really love the pictures we had taken my Lyndsay Daniels. (Check out her blog http://lmpreciousdesigns.wordpress.com) Anyways I finally found this Close To My Heart layout in the catalog and did my own version of it.

Just for Kix- Spring Show

The final dance show of the season was last night at Senior High!  Ms. Kim did a great job with the girls this year teaching them some cute moves!  The hardest part is getting them to sit still before and during the show waiting for their turn!   The Tiny Kix danced to Rock Around the Clock and Animal Crackers.  Quite appropriate for my little curly-q lady who resembled Shirley Temple herself yesterday morning when we took the sponge rollers out of her hair.  Sadly, the weather was wet so I had to add a few more curls with the teeny tiny iron!  But it turned out pretty fun!
